Men and (not vs) Women

Since years women liberalization has been ignited by social/political diplomacy. The more women empowerment issue is raised it is assumed to reflect a genuine concern towards people. But, can women empowerment be only limited to reservations? The help which is for deprived ones acts often as a tool for the privileged ones too. What about the modern women who enjoy social right, education and employment as equally as men. And if this continues to happen where will the men go, who too are deprived all the time.

What about the millions of young boys, even minors who earn meagre wages, are deprived of education and are sent for manual labour even by their families. The boys who by birth are burdened with huge expectations to support families where the main concern is to get the daughters married to better families which simultaneously relieves the parents of their duty. The men who cannot think to take a chance and live for themselves because they have to start earning at earliest and cannot think of leaving it even for a while. The men who remain burdened of the loans of their sisters' and daughters' marriages. Do they not need our help?

Indian society is full of such examples and they are called the "ideal sons". Rather than women empowerment, we should think of youth empowerment. It’s the youths in need of grooming, men or women. Why not women also realize their responsibilities towards earning for their family and move ahead to share the burden? The modern generation does that but still a majority of population thinks women should better be only a home maker and the women think , why not after all it is so important to cook and groom children! It is the need to think forward, a real equal society, where the men and women share responsibilities everywhere. Men and women are not equal in qualities and they don’t have to be, because they have their own strengths and weaknesses which perfectly complement each other. This attitude towards women makes her weaker, she thinks about getting help...why??....just help yourself!!

Women are much more capable than they are expected/seen to be, they need a boost, an equal treatment and the men need to be relieved of extreme expectations. If that happens..it will be a genuine social empowerment!!
